The Youth Day of Service (YDOS) is an annual week-long youth-led social impact event designed to rally the agency and creativity of young people across Africa towards sustainable development (SDGs). It represents a unique opportunity to mobilise and engage youth (ages 13-35) to take action and perform acts of service in their communities, and it is scheduled to hold the week of the ‘International Youth Day’ commencing August 12th.
The campaign theme for YDOS 2022 is ‘Youthful and Useful’ and the event will be held from August 12th – to August 18th.
