On October 20, 2024, during a landmark collaboration between Fresh International School for Applied Technology, Cairo, Dow Chemicals Egypt Employees and INJAZ, 34 volunteers and 12 students from the school were mobilized to plant 100 tree seedlings.
The initiative enabled the students to develop a stronger sense of ownership and responsibility for their environment. The project also inspired a more positive attitude toward environmental care among students, teachers, and volunteers. The tree seedlings planted when fully matured as trees would help to sequester an average of 10kg of Carbon Dioxide per year.
